Graham Roberts was Denis' favorite player. He played a hard man's game never backing away from a challenge. I remember going with Denis and Tom and Mick Reavey and Mr. Donovan on Boxing Day 1985 standing in the shelf watching Tottenham dismantle West Ham 4-0. Denis loved Spurs. He is the reason I am a Spurs supporter today. Hoddle and Waddle and Hodge and Allen were all good players but Denis loved Roberts. Not afraid to do the dirty work required for victory.
